The PAL-V Liberty is a three-wheeled flying car — a roadable gyroplane that drives on public roads and flies from short airstrips. UPDATE — September 2026: PAL-V received its European Production Organisation Approval (POA) from EASA on September 7, 2026. With the automotive approval from the RDW (March 2026), PAL-V now holds both production licenses required to build the Liberty at industrial scale. The first 250 Liberties are spoken for and PAL-V has paused new reservations while it ramps production. First flights and deliveries are targeted for 2028; current list price in Europe is US $350,000–$585,000. US market availability has not been announced. The PAL-V Liberty Pioneer Edition comes with “full options”, including a unique interior and exterior finishing. It has a level of personalization reserved for Pioneer Edition owners only. The worldwide number is limited to only 90 vehicles for delivery in European, North American and GCC countries. Only 20 vehicles have been allotted for the US market. The PAL-V Liberty Sport is the standard version of the PAL-V Liberty. The number of vehicles available for the US market will be greater than the Pioneer Edition.
