March 2026: the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) certified PAL-V as an automotive manufacturer. September 7, 2026: EASA granted PAL-V its Production Organisation Approval — together these give PAL-V both the road and aviation production licenses needed to build the Liberty at industrial scale. Production is ramping toward first flights and deliveries targeted for 2028. The first 250 Liberties are already spoken for.
