‘FlyDrive’ is PAL-V’s term for the Liberty’s dual nature: one vehicle, two modes. In about five minutes it converts from a road-legal, three-wheeled car into a gyroplane — and back again after landing. Unlike a helicopter it cannot take off vertically; it takes off from a short runway and then drives you door-to-door from wherever you land.
